Effectiveness of mindfulness-based intervention on post-traumatic stress symptoms among emergency nursing students

Abstract Background Clinical training stress may negatively affect nursing students’ academic achievement, clinical performance, learning outcomes, well-being, general health, and quality of life. This study aimed to evaluate the effect mindfulness-based intervention on post-traumatic symptoms among emergency students. was conducted at technical institute nursing, Zagazig University. Three tools were used in current study: sociodemographic data sheet, impact event scale, 15-item Five-Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire. Results Emergency students had a wide range PTSS pre-intervention period. These significantly improved after implementation intervention. level also Post-traumatic positively correlated with number hours age, mother’s occupation, educational level.
